What size should I resize an AliExpress product image to?

The guidance we found gives 800 x 800 pixels as the floor, and other guides suggest 1000 or 1200 for detailed products. We export at 1500 pixels to cover all of those. Check your Seller Center, as we could not read the rule page.

Does an AliExpress image have to be square?

An excerpt of the rule page allows ratios from 1:1 to 1:1.3, so a slightly tall image may be accepted. Square fits all the guidance we found, so that is the shape this tool makes. It is the safest choice when you are unsure.

What is the AliExpress image file size limit?

We could not confirm one for listing images. A 5 MB limit appears in AliExpress guidance for article images, and a third-party guide says 10 MB. We use 5 MB as a cautious ceiling here, so a real upload may allow more.

Should I pad or crop my AliExpress photo?

Pad when the whole product must stay visible, since it keeps the full photo and fills the gap with white. Crop when the photo has spare background, because the product fills more of the frame. After cropping, check the preview to see nothing important was cut off.

Does an AliExpress main image need a white background?

Seller guidance recommends a white or solid background, and some third-party guides insist on pure white. This resizer does not test or change the background of your photo, and padding only adds white around it. Start from a clean photo if you want a plain background.

Can this tool remove a watermark or border from my photo?

No. The resizer changes size and shape only. A search excerpt of AliExpress's rules says to avoid borders, watermarks and picture collages, so remove those in an editor first, or start from a clean original, then bring that file here to resize.

Why does my small photo look blurry at 1500 pixels?

Your original was smaller than the target, so it was enlarged, and enlarging adds no real detail. The tool tells you when this happens. If your photo is at least 800 pixels, a larger original may still look sharper, and a retake is the better fix for smaller files.

Can I resize many AliExpress photos at once on my phone?
