    Quick answer

The ListingFix marketplace image checker tests whether a product photo meets the measurable rules we hold for the marketplace you pick: shape, resolution, file size, format, transparency and, where it applies, a white background. It runs in your browser, and a pass means the numbers fit, not that a marketplace will accept the listing.

    What this tool does

    How to use it

    1. 1Choose your marketplace.
    2. 2Add a product photo, or try the sample.
    3. 3Read the report, then use Fix All and download the new image.

Marketplaces can reject or hide listings for simple image faults: a background that looks white but is not, a photo that is not square, or a file over the size limit. This checker reads the actual pixels and tells you which rule fails.

Your photo stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so you can check unreleased products too.

What Fix All can and cannot do

Where a marketplace requires a shape, Fix All pads the photo to it on pure white (or crops, on fashion marketplaces such as Zalando and Depop). It then resizes it to the recommended size and compresses it under the file limit. It cannot repaint a background behind your product. If the background check still fails, shoot on white or remove the background first.

    Questions sellers ask

Is there a free tool to check if my product photo meets marketplace rules?

Yes. This image checker is free and needs no account. Pick a marketplace, add a photo and read the report on shape, resolution, file size, format and background. It runs in your browser, so you can test as many photos as you like before listing.

Why was my product image rejected by a marketplace?

Simple measurable faults are a common cause: a background that looks white but is not, a photo that is not the required shape, or a file over the limit. This checker tests those. It cannot read the marketplace's decision, so also check the reason given in your seller center.

How do I know if my image background is pure white?

Measure it, because your eye and screen can mislead you. This checker samples the outer ring of pixels and counts how many are true white. A background that looks white often measures slightly grey or cream, and the report shows what share of the ring missed.

Do all marketplaces need a white background?

No. The checker only tests a white background where our stored rules ask for one, such as Amazon guidance and Walmart. It skips the test for eBay and Etsy, whose rules do not demand it. Pick your marketplace and the report shows only the tests that apply.

Can a tool fix my product photo automatically?

Partly. Where a shape is required, Fix All pads the photo to it on white or crops it on fashion marketplaces, then resizes it to the recommended size and compresses it under the file limit. It cannot repaint a background behind your product, so if that check still fails, shoot on white or remove the background first.

Why does Fix All say my photo was enlarged?

Your original was smaller than the marketplace's recommended size, so the tool scaled it up. That can clear the size test, but it adds no real detail and the image can look soft. Use a larger original if you have one, as it will hold up better when buyers look closely.

Are the marketplace image rules in this checker official?

Not all of them. Each marketplace shows when its rules were last checked and links the source where we read them. Others are marked as unverified seller guidance. Marketplaces change their rules, so confirm the numbers in your seller center before a large upload.

Is my photo uploaded when I check it?

No. All the work happens on your device, and the site has no server that receives your images. That lets you test photos of products you have not released yet, without sending those pictures to anyone or creating an account first.

Should I use the image checker or a resizer?

Use the checker when you want to know which rule a single photo misses, and to fix that one photo. Use a resizer when you already know you need a whole set of photos at one marketplace's size, because resizers accept several files and offer a ZIP download.

How do I check a listing photo on my phone?

Open this page in your phone's browser, tap the upload area and choose a photo from your gallery. If your browser cannot read a HEIC file, export it as a JPEG first. The report appears on the same page, and nothing leaves your phone.
